Sister Lynn Jarrell , PresidentSister Lynn Jarrell, President
A canon lawyer, she is presently with the Legal Resource Center for Religious, located in Silver Spring, Maryland.   A native of Louisville and graduate of Sacred Heart Academy, Sister Lynn holds a doctorate in Canon Law from the Catholic University of America.   Sister Lynn served as the first woman president of the Canon Law Society of America (1996-1997).   Before joining the Legal Resource Center, she was a faculty member at Saint Patrick's Seminary and at the Jesuit School of Theology in California.  Sister was a member of the leadership team of the Ursuline Sisters from 1992-1998, and taught at Sacred Heart Academy from 1971-1976.

Sister Martha Jacob, Vice President
Since 2001 she has held the position of archivist for the Ursuline Sisters.  A Louisville native and graduate of Sacred Heart Academy, she holds a B.A. degree from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, an M.A. degree from Indiana University and a Ph.D. from Michigan State University.   Past ministries include serving as director of public relations and development for the Ursuline Sisters and teaching in the communication departments at  Spalding College (now University), Ursuline College, Indiana University Southeast and Jefferson Community (now - & Technical) College.

                                                       Sister Rita Ann Wigginton, Councilor
Sister Ruth Ann Haunz, CouncilorShe is a graduate of Angela Merici High School and a native of Louisville. She taught at Holy Trinity and Sacred Heart Model School. She has worked extensively in the deaf ministry, including in the Archdiocesan Offices in Louisville and Covington and as the Director of Deaf Services for the Diocese in Brooklyn, New York. Sister Rita Ann was also the Diocesan Director of the Office for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing and the Blind in Toledo, Ohio. She attended Gallaudet University in Washington, DC. The school is a world-renowned university in which all programs and services are specifically designed to accommodate deaf and hard-of-hearing students. She presently is working to minister to the deaf in Northern Kentucky.

Sister Ruth Ann Haunz, CouncilorSister Rita Ann Wigginton , Councilor
A graduate of Sacred Heart Academy, she is a native of Oldham County, Kentucky. She holds a master’s degree in Theological Studies from the University of Dayton and is currently involved in on-going studies in spirituality and spiritual direction. Her most recent ministry was Pastoral Associate at St. Gabriel Parish. She also served in that ministry at St. Martha Parish. Earlier ministries include: Vocation Director for the Ursuline Sisters, retreat work with adults and youth, teaching at Sacred Heart Academy and Angela Merici High School, and Associate Director of the Ministry Formation Program and irector of Formation for the Archdiocese of Louisville. She continues to do spiritual direction.

She currently holds the position of Vocation Director.  Sister Rita taught at Ursuline
Montessori, Sacred Heart Model School and Our Lady of Lourdes, ministered at SS. Peter and Paul Parish in Cumberland as teacher and Director of Religious Education.  During her ministry, she has also taught at St. Francis de Sales Central Grade School in Morgantown, West Virginia, and St. John Neumann School in Cumberland, Maryland.  Sister Rita began working as the Vocation Director for the Ursuline Sisters in 2004.
