Merici, the foundress of the Ursuline Sisters, allowed themselves to be confined by wall They both went out into their communities to offer what they had.
Likewise, the facilitators and presenters of the Angela Merici Center for Spirituality will not be confined by wall They are happy to bring their expertise, wisdom and compassion to your church, faith community, school faculty and staff, organization or group.
Previous offerings have included, but are not limited to:
- Parish, school and staff days of reflection, workshops, retreats, team building, problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Facilitation of groups utilizing contemplative dialogue skills.
- Assisting others to envision and discern the future of their group, church, faith community or organization.
- Workshops on personal development and self-care.
- Various spirituality topics: prayer, living contemplatively, reading the scriptures with heart and mind, seasonal offerings, and many more.
The facilitators and presenters of the Angela Merici Center for Spirituality are also happy to meet with you and plan an experience to meet the specific needs of your group or community.

Spiritual Direction

If so, then you might consider spiritual direction.
 Throughout Christian history there has been a lively tradition of believers, and those who have their doubts, seeking women and men who are willing to listen with compassion, acceptance and a deep interest to the events of their lives.
When we are able to look at our lives without judgment or criticism, we are often able to notice the presence of God and discover the invitation of God’s spirit We are then free to respond.
People who come to direction are often surprised to discover how actively they are already involved with God in the reality of their lives and how much there is to say about this relationship.
A spiritual director has received training in this specialized ministry and is committed to developing their own relationship with God through prayer and receiving their own spiritual direction.
They participate in ongoing and confidential supervision of their work with a trained supervisor Clear vision, a discerning heart and a desire to grow are what make a director’s training fruitful for others.
