Silence is a source of great strength.  -Lao Tzu

There are many different types of strength: physical, financial and popularity, to name just a few.  Perhaps the greates strength is that grounded in a deep silence that connects you to your true self and the Source of that self. Do you desire such a connection, such a strength?  During this retreat of silent awareness you will be offered the opportunities to ground yourself in a silence that is life-giving. To support your efforts, you will also be invited to take advantage of opportunities to rest your mind and body, of communal and contemplative prayer, reflective experiences, meeting with a spiritual director and liturgy. All are welcome! (more)
